Yealink phone says "No Internet"
Network, power, DHCP and firewall checks for a Yealink phone that cannot reach the network.
Updated 2025-12-07
If your Yealink phone displays No Internet, work through these steps.
Check the basics
- Network cables - make sure the Ethernet cable is firmly seated in both the phone and the network switch or router.
- Power supply - if you are using Power over Ethernet, confirm the switch or injector is working. Otherwise check the power adapter is connected.
- Restart the device - unplug the power cord (or the Ethernet cord if you use PoE), wait 10 seconds, then plug it back in.
- Internet connection - confirm other devices on the same network can get online.
Check the network configuration
- Press the OK button to open the phone menu.
- Go to Status and check the IP address. If it shows
0.0.0.0, the phone is not receiving an address. - Confirm the phone is set to DHCP: Menu > Advanced > Network > WAN Port > IPv4, then select DHCP.
Firewall and firmware
- Ports - make sure the ports needed for SIP and RTP traffic are open on your firewall.
- Firmware - check the Yealink support site for a newer firmware version.
Last resort
Perform a factory reset: Menu > Settings > Advanced, then enter the admin password to reach the reset option.
If none of this helps, call or text 1 (800) 200-9018.
